What are these tips supposed to do for ones car?>

To tell you the truth, the addition of power when an exhaust tip is added is off the charts.  Besides looking and sounding great, I heard that doing a simple upgrade, such as welding on an exhaust tip, it can get you 40+ horsepower and actually increase boost to the turbo (even if you don't have one).  For example yesterday I added a JETEX exhaust tip to my 4KQ and today I took off four seconds on my quarter mile. By the way, if you add a Neuspeed (or any aftermarket performance shop) sticker it will get you another 10 HP out the door.  =)
