*sigh* HID lights under attack

A properly aimed lamp isn't going to blind anyone, but even the dimmest beam
from a poorly aimed light will. I think the problem is with the fake "blue"
lights that you can buy at any parts store now, or the yellow/blue/greenish
ones. Doesn't seem to matter what angle they are viewed from, they are
annoying in the box they are sold in. Unfortunately, true HID lamps are
getting blamed as well. We had antiquated lighting laws in the US for so
long, what's another 20 years going to matter? That's just my opinion,
maybe I'm still bitter about my 4kq and GTI's factory lamps, and what I had
to do to fix them. And that any moron can put fog lamps on a car, but bust
them with a hammer and....never mind.
Maybe the electrified road isn't a bad idea after all. Now all we need is
bioluminescent paint and some genetic work on crops to make the deer glow.
