Inlet air temp. sensor

Looking for an inlet air temp. sensor for an 89 200q
with and MC-2.  P/N 035 905 379C.  It's in the
intercooler outlet neck.  Anyone replace 1?  What's
this thing cost?  Rod at TPC told me it's dealer only.
 So far no response from Claire on the subject.  Mine
reads about 15% low resistance all the time.  I think
it's shot.  The ECU always thinks the air is much
colder than it really is.
