'87 4kq: transmission number

Andrew,

	I doubt you'd have the early transmission in an '87 (I do in my '84), but my date stamp was at 12:00 on the transmission bell housing, conveniently located under the coolant hard-line bracket. Just remove the tranny bolt and push aside the bracket to clean off the crap and read the stamp.

I'm about to buy gear lube for my 4kq. According to p. 34.1 of the
Bentley, the capacity differs depending on whether the transmission
number is below 12 08 4, or above 13 08 4. Where will I find the
number? Thanks!
