crunch!

Friday afternoon, I had to drive my 200 Q over to the local home
improvent warehouse to pick up some items for work. I ran in,
grabbed what I needed, got back in my car, backed out of my space,
checking behind me to be sure it was clear. As I move the gearshift
from reverse to first gear, I see some movement out of my peripheral
vision. I look out my window, and see a spare tire, attached to a
Honda Passport, headed directly at my door. If I honk, maybe he'll
stop, so I hit the button......nothing. Damn, I forgot that it
doesn't work. Crunch! Now there is a large circular dent in the
left rear door and quarter panel, and the window won't roll up.
Great, that's just what I need. Now the whole left side of the car
is smashed up. I still haven't fixed the tow truck damage from early
this year. So, the moral to this story is to check your horns, they
might save you some trouble, and beware of idiots in SUV's. Oh, and
if any of you have some left side sheet metal for an '89 200 for sale
cheap, preferrably somewhere in the midwest, let me know.
