Manual / Automatic, doesn't matter. Same cap.

When I did the adjustable WG mod a year or two ago on my 5ktq I did a little

There aren't any pics, but I should be able to take some tonight while I'm in 
the garage (if I remember :)...

BTW, this won't, for the most part, get you any additional boost. What it 
does do is to help eliminate some of the WG cracking so that the boost builds 
quicker. It's quite noticable with the stock spring IMHO.
