Well, after weighing all the options...and the costs. I've decided what to do.
I'm not going to put in a rebuilt clutch. I've heard too many stories about
them this past week...better to go new.
For the extra $100 it's going to cost me for the 20V clutch, I'm going for it.
I expect to machine the flywheel anyways...so the $80 for that I'm not counting
in the upgrade.
Advantages of the 20V clutch? Well, 270mm's over 240mm stock. More friction
more better...
With the rallying I figure i'm putting a little more strain on the clutch
then 'normal'. Thus, I think the upgrade might prove to help a little in the
longetivity department.
So...monday the quattro goes in for the clutch. Can't wait. Got a 230km drive
monday night!!
