Hi list mates,

Once again I have re-subscribed to tell you that I dumped my Lemon of an
Audi - the '99' A6 Avant, as per all of your advice... I found the perfect
opportunity to trade it for a BMW X5 - one year old, top of the line, for
$38,000. The extended warranty that we got with the BMW documented that it
initially sold in March 2000 for $59,645, before tax and license. The white
haired couple (I have seen them driving it) that special ordered it new
decided it was way too powerful and traded it for two Oldsmobiles. Anyway,
I rescued it from the wholesale trade just two hours before it was
scheduled to go. I feel great about the deal, because I was $3K upside down
on my Audi loan, so I look at it as getting the BMW for $35K and feel lucky
to have the Audi out of my life.

My hubby plans to sell his 94 Landcruiser and keep the BMW because he puts
on very little miles in a year, and pick up a more economical car for me,
who seems to be loading on the miles these days. (Don't know what I want
yet - am considering the BMW 3 series wagon...)

I have Audi brand Avant crossbars and ski/snowboard racks for sale. Locks
and keys included. The cross bars initially sold for $389. and the
ski/snowboard attachment was $115.00. I will sell them to the highest
bidder. I'd like to get half of what I paid but all offers will be
considered. I can mail them COD through our business.

If interested, e-mail me privately as I am leaving for the mountains
tomorrow and won't be around for a week. I'll un-sub to this list before I
go.

Meanwhile, if anyone is tempted to grab a California '99' A6 Avant,
cashmere grey (VIN # WADA34BOXNO59958), DON'T do it! My Audi is looking for
a new home to torture. Trust me, that car is nobody's friend.
