Brake questions (kinda long)

Hi all!

I replaced today a rear brake line and hose... as I suspected that the end
of the line that screws into the hose would be kinda messed up, I bought a
complete line and replaced it from the T-fitting at the rear of the car,
ahead of the fuel pump (the car is an 85 Coupe Quattro, kinda similar to the
4kq. That job was kinda easy and a lot easier than trying to replace the
hose alone (the threads of both the line and the hose were almost
inexistent!!!I suppose these parts were as old as the car is!). Afterwards I
went on and bled the whole system and the clutch. Nice to have almost
transparent brake fluid instead of that old and greasy fluid! The problem is
that even after bleeding thoroughly the brake MC, proportioning valve and
each caliper, my brakes are a bit weak at first (the car stops and the pedal
doesn't go to the floor), and after shortly pumping once on the pedal, they
are great, a lot stiffer when pressing the pedal than before pumping...I've
checked that no more air comes from each bleeding screw before closing it,
so this shouldn't be the issue... What can this be? Bad MC? I hope not...
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated, as I can't get to figure
out what's going on.
TIA to all who will answer!!
Cheers,

Mihnea

'85 Coupe quattro (still stock but waiting for a 2.5l low-pressure turbo
upgrade, konis and a complete stainless steel ehxaust system)
