Pretty close on the history of Lamborghini but not exactly correct.
Lamborghini was indeed a wealthy tractor manufacture ( you can still buy
them new here in the US) who owned a Ferrari 250 GT that he considered not
quite up to par. After being refused proper attention during an audience
with Enzo Ferrari concerning his ideas for improvements ( it would have been
easier to drop in for a nice chat with the Pope) he decided to build his own
car in direct competition with the Ferrari GT line. The engineers and
stylists that he used were always the Italian auto industry's best. I think
that Tucker has mistaken Sig. Lamborghini for Sig. Bizzarrini who was one of
Lamborghini's and Ferrari's top engineers and a car builder in his own rite
(see "Bizzarrini" web site below).
About 30 years ago I was fortunate enough to be offered a ride in a
Lamborghini 400 GT and found it to be every bit as good the Ferrari GT cars
of the day. A powerful, silky smooth engine and a beautifully finished body
and interior. I was seriously considering an Espada when I found my Ferrari
308. The price of parts is very high even by Ferrari V12 standards, they
actually make Ferrari V8 parts look downright cheap!
A few interesting Lamborghini web sites.
