I guess it makes up for our complete disagreement on the supreceded fitting
of the 2pc manifold on 10vt cars only 2 days ago. Your claim that the "ding"
of downpipe in the install of the 2pc manifold to put it on a urq as being
"bad" due to flow, has some serious flaws in argument and application. If
you want to correct bad "flow" I highly suggest that you look at the cast
turbo to downpipe connection (the first 4inches of the downpipe), it is more
restrictive than any "ding" due to a better designed 2 pc manifold install.
A 3in flange can go directly to the turbo to eliminate the biggest
restriction in the downpipe, btdt..

If the ding in the downpipe causes undue concern wrt flow, you can fit the
200tq downpipe, which is smaller in diameter. Not sure I'd do this, nor
would I recommend the 1 pc exhaust manifold to anyone looking for a
replacement. Any "ding" you put in the downpipe is offset by a fairly large
gain in flow upstream of the turbo using the 2pc manifold.
