VW-Audi tools,fabricating

I am planning to replace the valve seals in my 84 4Ks. It has the 1.8 JN
engine which is completely stock. Bently shows a number of tools which
look as if they might be fabricated without too much difficulty. I'm
referring to tools #2036 ( round bar which extends the length of the
head used as an anchor to pry aginst) and VW541/1 ( the two piece valve
spring compressor itself) Other tools called for by Bently is a pair of
10218 pliars (used to remove the the old seal)and 10204 (used to install
the new seal) I have already purchased a Lysle air hose to hold the
valve in place while doing this job with head installed. Any one have
any fabrication plans or a less expensive source than VW(will not sell
tools here in North Carolina) or Zelinda(again, too expensive for me)?

Would also like to hear from anyone who has found a multimeter similar
to US 1119. Capable of measuring all electrical needs on the Audi. Brand
and model # if available, and source too, would be
appreciated.

Thankyou,

Donald Lamond
