audi 5000s windows/erratic engine speed

TO WHOEVER CAN HELP ME. 
    I have a 1985 5000s with 118,000 miles.  Ive had
the car for 4 months and both of the passenger windows
have stopped working.(power windows)  The previous
owner had replaced the relays once at the cost of 70
per window which i cant afford.  Can anyone tell me
how to remove the door panel in order to access the
faulty relays? and how would i fix the relays.  Also
on the front passenger side and the rear driver side
chrome trim/window seals have fallen off.  Also, the
car has a period that lasts for roughly 5 minutes
after cold starting where the engine will idle well
then slow, and right before recovering it shoots back
to around 1000, rights itself, then dips and shoots
back up again.  It does this until the engine warms
up, then it functions as normal.  The peaks and
valleys occur whether the car is in motion or parked,
it will accelerate perfectly then cut out and then
power returns.  what the hell.  if anybody can help me
id appreciate it.
