boost gauge nylon tubing

Oliver,
In my experience rubber hose should work fine. The boost gauge I installed
on my truck came with a plastic line, don't know if it was nylon, and one
day after a hard run the boost gauge dropped to zero. I tracked the problem
to a section of the hose that had melted and collapsed upon itself. The
section ran close to the turbo, a very hot area, and probably collapsed
during a zero boost period after a high boost and temp period. I replaced
the original hose with rubber vacuum hose from Autozone two years ago and
have had no problems since. This application frequently sees 20+ PSI.
