For anyone interested in getting better at autocross, this sounds like a
great opportunity.

BMWCCA membership costs $35 or so, and gets you access to their autocross
events. I don't know whether membership is required for this school.

See you there!

Evo I schools are Saturday the 28th. There are 24 slots....
Evo II is Sunday there are 14 slots.

As I receive your checks and the school(s) you wish to enroll in I will
confirm you via EM. I will be doing this by who gets their checks to me
first! So I hope you get them in the mail in the next few days!
These schools will sell out. If we fill, I will put some of you on a wait
list ..BUT will not cash your check unless you get a slot.

Most important! If you need to cancel please do so by the Saturday before
the school. I will refund your money if you do this by the deadline. After
that it gets iffy...I will try to fill your spot and if I do you will still
get a refund....BUT lets not make me do tons of calling, ok :-)

Here's the scoop on Phase I:

The "original" Evolution program as developed by the McKamey Autocross
School. This first step in the Evolution is where all students start,
regardless of experience. Daylong course builds upon students existing
skills, while introducing new ideas to improve one's times. Students both
ride and drive with Evolution trained national caliber drivers to learn
where they are fast and where they need to improve. Small student teacher
ratio of 6:1 insures quality instruction time. Computerized timing provides
segment times, which can be compared at various times during the day.
Combined with race proven skills, concepts, and techniques this course will
improve the performance of all drivers on both road and track. Even
experienced driver's benefit from the Phase 1 course as a refresher for
those things they've forgotten over the years or perhaps never learned. No
matter what type of car you drive the Phase 1 skills will improve your
overall driving abilities.Note: All students must provide their own two-seat
vehicle for the day. Two driver cars are welcome.

Folks your car will be teched. Make sure it's ready for 30-50 runs per day!
Also keep in mind that the instructors will also be driving your car.....if
your clutch is about to go, or any other parts on the car...and it does so
out on the runway...Don't blame it on an instructor :-) Make sure your car
is in great shape.....etc....

Please let me know the following>
Emergency contact person & phone number
Your name; address; phone #'s, Work & Home
Make/model/year of car
Which school(s) you want to be in

Remember that the school starts each day at 8:00AM....Be there early so we
can tech your car and you can relax and enjoy your day! The gate should be
open at 7:00AM....Bring lots of fluids, an Umbrella, and all the usual
Autocross gear to be prepared...

Last, enjoy quality seat time from the best Solo II instructors in the USA!

Steve
