FACOM, again, make an interesting device.  I can't get their online catalogue to describe it, but if you go to http://www.facom.com and select the automotive catalogue and then sockets, the lowest illustration on the right shows a kind of T-bar with a big blob below it.

This is a manually-operated impact wrench.  You twist the handle through 270 degrees and then a spring lets go and BANG - one impact.  Not much use for caliper mounting bolts, but a neat idea for other things.
