problems with Blau's Delrin bushings..

I had the unpleasant experience of installing some of Blau's Delrin control 
arm bushings
on my dad's 95 90 quattro... taking the control arms off was a breeze as 
well as removing and reinstalling the new bushings..
the hard part came when i tried to put the control arms back on...
they would not fit up in the subframe far enough for the bolts to line up...
after an hour of frustration i broke out the cut off tool and trimmed the 
bushings up a bit so they would actually
fit up in the subframe nice and snug. it was a major PITA...
and I really hate having to do these type of things to new parts...

am I the only one whom has had this bad luck with their bushing kit?
I really had wished dad had just order the oem's...
a simple 2 hours job turned into almost 6 hours...

sigh...

the car does drive a lot tighter and handle MUCH better now though...

rant mode off.
