letting car sit for a month...

I returned home this early morning after 23 days vacation and I had no
problems starting my non-prepped for long hiatus 5KTQ. It took two attempts
but started anyway. Before I left, I removed the radio and radar detector
and filled up half tank of gas.
After driving rented 1.3L Ford Fiesta for a week while overseas, it was a
sheer pleasure driving a real car to work this morning. Boy, I missed my
beloved Q!

Subject: letting car sit for a month...

im goin to europe on friday for the month of july (with my gf, which means
no car stuff... :( , and wonder: should i do anything to prep the car for
settin' for a month? i could unhook the battery, but it would render the
alarm useless. ive heard the mbte fuels do a number on injectors in a
vehicle that sits for a while.

thoughts + opinions appreciated,
jim
