Where is rear amp on 87 TQW ?

Rear left speaker started crackling like crazy a few days ago (Bose 10 speaker setup).  Haven't had a chance to look at Mr. Bentley, any of you wagon drivers want to gimme a clue where it might lurk?

p.s. if you were watching WTBS on Saturday and four rings kept appearing on your screen, Bill Maggliocco, Elliott Potter and I were working on our cars directly under the 900 foot transmitter tower.  12 rings and 17 cylinders...
