If I'm reading this right (it is hard to translate from British),
the sole index of "efficiency" is how many hours it takes to build
a car.  As reflected in how many an employee makes per year.

Now, it seems OBVIOUS that is is going to take a lot longer to
build an A8 than a Nissan Micra. More stuff to build you know.
