Hi Noah; Donald Lamond also of Durham. I've been going out to the yards in
Mebane. Prices are about half of those charged in Durham.
The independent yards are being bought up so that the old competition no longer
exists. They are being bought up by one family. That one particular stretch of
Rt 70 had seven yards and all with different owners. Crutchfield, I know has
bought at least two. These guys in Durham are something else. Jakes might give
you a break on something VW but when it comes to Audi, I've had the counter man
say , "..
Das forin jes lik Marcedes! 10 dollars fer da ting." Infuriating!
How do you like Intrex?
Donald
84 4Ks Silver Grey (smashed in drivers side door and no grill) probably done
by some of those hairy green toads from across the bridge in Kittery.
