Cures for sticky lifters? '87 4kcsq

Damn, I though that Mann/Mahle would be the same as the genuine Audi. I
think I will change my filter first. However when I bought the car a month
ago there was no lifter noise, and there was a Fram oil filter on the car.
Go figure.
