keyless entry, sebring, and trans fluid change

First off, around christmastime I bought an Autolöc KL4950 keyless entry
system for my 1989 90q. I had seen autolöc advertised around, and there
were wiring diagrams from 20v.org for an older model. Well, mine has "BIRT"
(built-in relay technology), and I'm having trouble figuring out how to
connect it to the locking system. I've accessed the pump in my trunk and
tried multiple combinations of wires to no avail, kept blowing the power
lock fuse. Instructions from 20v.org and the "regular cars" schematics can
be found at http://www.20v.org/remote.htm and
http://www.autoloc.com/zins/KL4950.pdf respectively. Damn being a third
year electrical engineering major and not being able to figure this out,
grrrrrrr.

Next, any listers going to sebring for 12 hours? I'm making the trek (road
trip) from Chicago, as it's my alternative to my foiled plans for germany
spring break 2001. Finals over friday 11:00 AM, race start 10:40 AM
saturday, PLENTY of time.

Finally, I've seen that a lot of people have been having problems with poor
shifting in cold weather and such. My car is exhibiting the same problems,
so I was wondering just how much of a pain draining and refilling trans
fluid can be, I'll check archives soon. Is the redline fluid available at
automotive dealers? If so, source in Dayton, OH area?

TIA,
