the PO on one of my cars had a bad battery leak that ate the plastic on the
vacuum pump housing and thus shorted out the circuit board controller housed
on the bottom of the pump. The acid even ate a hole in the vacuum hose going
forward. If the vac pump's case is intact, check for a green grunge across
the connectors, causing an intermittent short.

Subject: Cent. locking system fuse keep burning out
Hi Guys,
Somehow the fuse for the central locking system on my 5kcst keeps burning
out; it happens more frequently when it's raining and cold. I am not
sure what's causing it but this has never happened to my 5kcst before. I
was wondering if any lister has experienced the same problem before? What
could be wrong in the system beside the pump?
Thank You
Albert Ng
