Odo Fix?

With a lot of TLC I know my 85 4Ksq is good for thousands more miles, but...

It would be nice to be able to know when its time for fresh fluids without
having to count gas tanks...

My Odometer hasn't been working, neither has the trip meter...Speedo works
great.

Is there a quick fix?  I was told that there is a little plastic gear that
goes behind that speedo face that is the culprit.  If this sounds right does
anyone on the list know the part number?
