Yeah 35 profile, teeehehe, can't even imagine what a frost heave would
do to that:) I hit a frost heave so hard yesterday coming out of the mtn's,
after the best day of skiing all season, that I head my head on the roof,
the wiring for the amplifier in the trunk went nuts, and my knee turned the
engine off by hitting the keys. It was quite weird when I stepped on the
gas and nothing happened at 65mph. Thank god for 70 profile snow tires on
14" rims, because without that right now I'd be crying about more crunched
wheels. I am going to pick up my 225/40's on the 16x7.5" today or tomorrow,
once those are mounted I need to be super special careful around here,
though I'll only be here for about a month before I'm back in NY and free of
the maniacal frost heave. Javad is very right about the steering response.
I can twist the wheel nearly 1/5 of full rotation quickly on the highway and
it does very little to the direction of the car, turn in is sloppy,
cornering is even stranger.
Cheers!
