Sorry, didn't get the original post. Is this about a bonded screen (type 
44/89/D1) or a conventional screen (everything before aforementioned models)?
If the former, I concur. Almost impossible to remove in one piece, 
impossible to refit properly as an amateur mechanic.
The latter is an easy DIY job however. I did a write-up of the procedure a 
while ago, on a CGT.
