WMB Headlights for 5kTQ?

Hi there list!
I recently picked up a set of WMB headlight buckets and a couple of H4
housing to boot - a local yard was doing the Monster Mash (crushing
everything - including all of the Audis ....sob...) in preparation for going
"92 and newer only".  I was wondering if anybody knew if using the WMB
headlights on a 5k/2c turbo has been tried - a la Huw's work with '78 5k
headlights - to alleviate the "Geez, is that the street lights or are my
headlights really on?" problem with Type 44 turbos?

1987 5kTQ - love the aero headlight look - but you only see that from the
outside - not inside at 120 km/h down the highway........hardly see anything
as a matter of fact....
1980 5k - square headlights....sigh.
1962 and '64 Auto Union DKW Junior deLuxes - HID?  Halogen?  12 volt?
