5kq climate ctrl questions

Heya guys,
  Looking back through the archives and my memory I believe my
5kq's problem is that valve up under the black shroud in front
of the windshield under the hood. On the passenger side.  Cant
think of its name.  
  Symptoms are...Its stuck on heat.  THe climate control head
unit seems to operate fine.  I can turn it off, switch from hi -
lo speed, defrost, Bi-level, etc.  But its on full heat all the
time.  So is valve likely the culprit?
  Also, what exactly does the Aspirator do?  Could this be a
problem as well?
