side moulding removal part 2!

for anyone who didnt read my previous post :- i lost a side moulding, it
would appear it was refixed at somepoint with silicone sealant.

Part 2

well i got all the old silicone and rubber off with wd40 and cellulose
thrinners and heat.  although i did not get the gripfill (i dont know if its
universal, its sometimes called no more nails, a solid concrete like
substance) that some idiot had used with the silicone to stick the moulding
back on.  so i made a plastic chisel which removed a great deal of it.. the
only other approach i think will be heat which may soften it.
