"Not available until April"???
Really? A local VW dealer down the road here in Seattle has (had) about six
wagons all lined up just a month or two ago. I stopped by to see what they
looked like, and had my choice of colors. can't remember what the final price
was on them, and didn't have time at the time to take it for a drive, but plan
on going back soon to do just that and compare it to the way the quattro's
drive. From what I've heard, they won't be as sporty as the A4, VW wanting to
capture more of the luxury side of the market, leaving Audi with the sporting
side. I do remember the sales drone saying the 4Motion was available only with
the v6, not avail with any other motor. He couldn't tell me what the drive
train was, viscous or torsen or what, so can't help there. Anyway, might be
worth checking with other dealers...
