I'll bet making cross-shopping inconvenient increases sales. How lazy of
us.

As for specialists in the line- if cross-shopping is hard, why do I need a
specialist in the line?  I'd bet that it has more to do with making a
clear class distinction between them.  Same reason Caddies never appear in
the base Chev showroom and vice versa.  They wouldn't want us getting the
impression that a Passatt is a stripped down A6, after all. (or, worse
yet, that an A-6 was a "just" a souped-up Pasatt... (-: )
