Help with AOL (NAC)

Friends, i've been corresponding with Justin who uses AOL and is 
having no luck finding the commands to turn off HTML format in his 
email.  Would those of you who have solved this problem with AOL's 
interface please respond to us off-list and help him?  I don't use 
AOL so I'm not much help on the software in question.  It probably 
would be good to mention which version of AOL you're using.
