200TQA no hot start... presssure guage attach points?

I  bought fuel pressure guage to assit troubleshooting.. working with
Bentley I measured pressure at fuel  filter,  OK and no drop with pump off.
Next measured cold and hot control pressure,  Bentely not real clear in
picture, I put guage between top port of pressure regulator and the center
port of the fuel distributor that angles towards passenger side, is this
correct?  Readings here were high,  100psi cold and then hot with running
motor.  Maintained 60psi for over half hour with motor off.

And didn't someone mention that there are certain conditions that will cause
the car not to make spark (other than broken) if certain things are not
happening?

Any furthert clues will be greatly appreciated.
