High RPM between gears

I'd like to know as well as my 4ktq does this.  I know
lightening the flywheel helps but mine hangs a lot longer than
other engines from the same car.  So there must be something
that is broken or needs replacing.  So let me know what you find
out.  Or if you could CC me in private replies if you could. 
  At least I finally found out why my car was always retarding
the ignition.  My knock sensor was bad.  Grrr.
