another plea for a canister purge valve...

Please help!
I got a couple responses, but no perfect matches yet. I wonder
where Chris Semple is, he hasn't responded to my emails, and the
Force5auto phone number seems to be down. How about
Chris/jordanvw at aol.com? I know sometimes there are lots of
people parting out 5k's. Now that I need a part, nobody's around or
the cars are gone!
I am in need of a charcoal canister purge valve, or carbon canister
purge valve, or charcoal canister shutoff valve, or check valve, listed
in the album as p/n 035 133 517.
It plugs into the rear of the elbow shaped rubber boot on top of the
airflow meter.
Please let me know ASAP if you have one of these I could buy or
have for shipping expense.
Or, can I just disconnect this device temporarily, or will something
bad happen? If I pull it out of the rubber boot and plug that, should
I leave the other smaller lines connected to it, to each other, or
separately plugged?
Thanks,
Ken
