Hlaa sender removal and interchangability

I want to swap the hall sender from a '91 100  into my '90 200 TQA to
diagnois a hot starting problem.
1)  Are they interchangeable?
2)  How ddoes it come out?  Couldn't get the "window" rotor to come off
either car.   TIA
