Okay, I got the nice letter from the county saying my parts car in the
carport has to go, so I'm stripping her with gusto.  Pulled the relay from
the panel that controls the 'hey you left your lights or radio on' bong.
Put it into the TQW (original one never worked) and yup, it works.  Bong
bong bong.

Only problem is, the lights, the radio and all triggers to set off the bong
are turned off.  Key is out of the ignition and it still bongs when you open
the door.  Bong goes away when you close the door.  Bongs all the time with
the door open.

Hmmmmm.

I realize a few days with a multimeter and beer would fix it, but anybody
run into this before?  I'm thinking the ignition switch doesn't know when
the key's out of the ignition.

Oh, and if anybody needs an uncracked navy blue dashboard, front windshield
(one tiny nick in it) or a TQ sedan gas tank *free*, come and get 'em.  But
you gotta pull it/them.  The rest of it is pretty well gone, email me with
