My 88 90Q has pretty good reception for an "in the glass" antenna. Better

Interesting. My '95 90Q most definitely has a power antenna. It also seems
like it
might have an antenna in the glass though. The top 3 wires do appear to be
on a
distinct circuit from the rest. And the 4th goes up that squiggly path to
cover the
center brake light - no reason to do that unless the top 3 are merely
imposters.
Why would they double up on antennas like that? Do those of you with 90's
w/glass-only antennas get decent reception? Is there anything where the
antenna
mast would belong?
No big deal. I'm curious to solve this mystery, but we can go back to
talking about
engines and brakes and suspensions, etc.
