Question to a CARFAX expert (NAC)

Take the Carfax info with a grain of salt........especially the older
cars. 

As an example (these were all registered by original owners BTW) :

1984 5KS starts it's Carfax life in 1990
1990 200TQA starts it's Carfax life in 1994.
1988 90Q starts it's Carfax life in the middle of 1996.

A quick search of the archives should bring up some interesting posts
about Carfax.  Personal lister vehicles that had been junked, stolen and
bought at insurance auctions all came up with clean titles.
