Dashpots

The idea that it was a leftover from carbs wasn't what was intended.
Merely a comment as to why dashpots came into being in the USA around
'74. As I originally stated, Audi must have some other purpose, which of
course, eludes me (still trying to figure out the door handles in a place
where freezing weather exists 3 months out of the year).
