Yeah, it's a W8 though, and a 6 speed, and 4 motion, and 350ish hp.  Len Hunt 
has already alluded to the notion that the next generation S4 will get the W8 
engine as well.  Not the 2.7T variant that had been forecasted.

AMI automotive news has featured the Passat W8 recently,and in watching this 
month's Audi MAX broadcast here at the dealer, I can tell you that there seem 
to be quite a slew of cars ready to roll at VW/Audi Ag.
A4 based coupes and cabrio's, a fastback S4, Tiptronic TT's, etc are all in 
the works.
