Just that I'd give an addendum to this....

Since removing my SERVOTRONIC relay yesterday I've noticed 2 things;

1) the car feels more stable at high speeds, bumps that move my hands
on the wheel no longer actually steer the car, the steering has more
weight.

and 

2) the car now has a renewed ability to center itself after a corner. I
LOVE IT!
