need help with UrQ dash swap

I just upgraded my 83' UrQ with an 85' Coupe dash.  I
had to solder on all the new switch sockets and almost
all went well.  I did the defroster and hazard
switches first, and they worked no problem.  I did the
headlight switch next, and it works properly. 
However, now the hazards and turn signals don't work. 
I just get a steady green dash indicator (no flash). 
I am thinking I might have messed up a ground.  Any
ideas/similar experiences?  Thanks
