My answer is not to you Brendan (you already know what to do!)
It is for Chris,
The saggy rear end is very common with Audis (and VW). You can get new
springs but they are costly, another way to deal with it is:
Remove the strut ass'y
Install a hose clamp under the dish that holds the spring
Reinstall
Should give you another .5 of height approximately

Replace the struts with solid steel rods.
Might be a bit of a rougher ride.
