Removing Door panel from 87 5000cstq

The "pull handle" part of the armrest has a trim piece that can be pried off.
Once you do that, there are screws in there that needs to be removed.
Also in there is a recessed hole with another screw inside.  That should be
removed too.

Other than that, there is a screw on each of the front and rear top-edge
of the door panel, and one in the door-open lever trimpiece, covered by
a small plastic cover which you can pry off.  Remove all of these.

You should also remove the side mirror inside trim (one screw and pry off),
and the door lock pin (twist off).

Then, use a door trim removal tool or wide putty knife and gently pop
the door panel free from the door (a row of plastic clips all along
the side and lower edges.  Once all the clips are free, you can lift
the entire door panel up and then off the door.

You can then unclip the sound-insulation sheet off the door to gain access
to the door's innerds.
