Alternator? final follow up

  Hello list,

  To all who responded with my alternator? problem
thanks,
 after spendin 3 days dismantaling the interior of my
car and tracing the blue wire of death  from the alt
to the inside of the dash(witch was a pain to take
apart,ended up with no extra screws as well puttin it
back together) the problem ended up being the most
obvious thing the alternator,
  but the only reason I did'nt substitute it in the
first place was because it's alittle over a year and a
half old the original one lasted 10 years so I took it
down to get bench tested and it failed so instead of
spendin $220 on another rebuilt I took it down to a
local alternator/starter rebuilder and $110 later it
works great with a longer warranty than when I
originaly bought it a year and a half ago.
