new parking brake pin...help??

I'm replacing the adjuster rod on my parking brake (89 90q). I can't, for the 
life of me, come up with a way to flare the two ends of the rivit that holds 
the adjuster rod to the parking brake handle...

Any ideas??

New shifter ball, ball housing, rod, and boot.
New parking brake adjustment rod.
New center muffler (well...resonator now!)
...I'm telling you...I'm going to get this thing sorted so all it needs is 
paint!
