bushings!

Ever since I've had my 89 90q, June 2000-present, I've had a nice clunk at
the righthand extent of my steering.  At Sebring last weekend (or so) I also
had a nice whir kind of noise when I turned the steering wheel either
direction, but just sometimes, also the clunk began happening about 3/4 of
the way to the steering lock.  I've purchased new bushings for a quick fix
(suspension upgrade this summer), but ran out of time at home, and since I'm
back at school now, I have not many places to work on my car.  SO, is there
a respectable, cheap, honest, good repair shop in the Evanston, IL or north
Chicago suburbs area that I can take parts to and say, "Change my control
arm bushings, here are the parts?"
