4ksq no start :(

O.k. I think my car doesn't want a new steering rack.  I go and call and
order one, and then I go to start the car and it just cranks and cranks.
So my guess is that either the electrical system is failing or the fuel
system is failing.  I checked the fuses for those system, both look fine.
Any ideas? I am hoping it is something simple, like the coil or something.
